Pension Alfa is situated in the antique house from 16th century between Žižka square and Kotnov castle, in the historical centre of town Tábor.This town is famous for its fortune of historical and cultural sights. Remarkable is for example the Town hall, where the art gallery and the museum with exhibition “Husité“ reside, Kotnov castle, nearby fortification with walls and forts, underground corridor (a journey about 800m), Jordán-the oldest reservoir in the Czech republic, established in 1492, the botanical gardens and Garnet rock.Nearby there are a lot of ruins: Choustník, Kozí hrádek, Dobronice u Bechyně, Příběnice, the castle Červená Lhota, the cave Chýnovská jeskyně, the lake Knížeci rybník and other interesting and available destination for travellers, for example České Budějovice, Český Krumlov, the castles Hluboká nad Vltavou, Orlík or Zvíkov.
Well-known recreation area of reservoir Jordán is far-away 10 minutes by walk.Good position of pension also makes possible easy entrance by walking and by cycling to neighbourhood of Tábor. That is why Pension Alfa became sought-after locality both for lovers of weekend trips and long-run holidays of hiking and cyclotourism all year round. Except individual excursion, pension is competent to give a business party and sessions of travel agency.
We offer an accommodation in 9 rooms (with 1, 2, 3 or 4 beds). Some rooms can be endow with extra bed.Total capacity is 25 persons.All of the room have its own social facilities (a bathroom, WC), WIFI and a telephone.
There is also a safe, an access to internet, bicycle rental, a depository of bicycles and motorcycle in the house.
The Whisky Pub with snacks, the wine-cellar and the summer terrace is also in hand.

As promised we did return here since our last holiday in 2017. Super friendly staff, top Czech beer, great music in the pub, over a 100 different kinds of whisky and other drinks as welland the rooms are very clean. Alfa is located in the historic center of Tábor, and has a historic feeling. So if you like good times, go to Alfa!
